I don't anything about that kind of shark except its size and the fact that its a shark. And judging by its size, its probably pretty low on the food chain. I mean seriously, its like, 2 feet long! I dont think it will be eating anything big enough to fight back anytime soon.

Why is the cookie cutter shark called the cookie cutter?

Cookiecutter Shark Isistius brasiliensisMany cetaceans and large fish, including other sharks, suffer when cookiecutter sharks are around. This small, cigar-shaped shark is a parasite that bites chunks out of its prey. Using its unique thick, flexible lips to hold onto its victim by suction, it then twists itself around so that its razor-sharp lower teeth bite out a cookie-shaped piece of flesh. It is active at night, luring its victims with glowing green bioluminescent lights on its belly. It also preys on squid and crustaceans.

What kind of tiny fish do the cookie cutter sharks eat?

Cookie-cutter Sharks have big triangular teeth in the lower jaw and have small piercing teeth in the upper jaw. These sharks are not considered dangerous to humans, because of their small size and the fact that they live deep in the ocean. They catch their food by attaching themselves to their prey with sucking lips. Once attached they can spin their body to cut out a chunk of flesh, just like you do with cookie dough and cookie cutters. Cookie cutter sharks bite chunks out of large billfish like marlins and tunas, large squid, seals, whales, dolphins, other sharks, and stingrays. This shark has even been recorded to take a bite out of a nuclear submarine's rubber dome.
