An American poet. Since we are in Hershey and Chocolate subfiles.....

The Hershey Company is an American chocolate manufacturer of long history. As is Laura, the first name of another long established Canadian company. Laura Secord, named after a female hero of the War of 1812, where Americans attacked Canada. No one said history was logical. Laura Secord heard of a proposed American attack on a fort of which her husband was in command of the defense. She ran thru the bush against all obstacles, and arrived in time to thwart the sneaky, devious Americans. Almost sounds like a West Bank opera. No offense intended. The founder of Hershey's was a guy named Milton Snavely Hershey. With a middle name of Snavely, you can imagine he was fairly uptight.

Laura Secord makes great chocolate, barely known and Milton Snavely Hershey makes a passably edible product worldwide. A large attachment and endorsement to the US Armed Forces certainly helps. As a Canadian, one large box of Laura Secord Select beats 10 boxes of Snavely Hershey any day.
