According to the biblical account, Moses was the leader of the nation of Israel when they were delivered by almighty God out of slavery in Egypt until the time they were about to enter the promised land of Israel. Moses is also credited with being the author of the first five books of The Bible, also known as the Pentateuch. Being brought up in the household of Pharaoh, he certainly was well educated and also had the time during the forty years the Israelites were in the wilderness.
