But I think that, because Jammy Dodgers are actually Anglesey Cakes, the company needed to trademark their own brand of Anglesey Cakes by making them look different so they used a heart instead of a circle for the middle. Anglesey Cakes are basically homemade Jammy Dodgers that are traditionally made by people in Anglesey to celebrate new year (i think). :)
