It is unlikely plants and goldfish will be successfully growing in a 'fishbowl'. The reason for this is that a fishbowl is not large enough to even house a goldfish properly. (or any other living thing IMO). However, in an 'Aquarium' of sufficient size, it is possible to have both fish and plants growing successfully. In this case the plants do in the aquarium what plants/trees do in our air. The plants clean the water by removing impurities like the carbon dioxide and nitrates that are produced by the fish. Plants also produce and release Oxygen during the process of photosynthesis as they grow and breathe. So the plants are nourished by the fish and the fish get better water conditions provided by the plants. Good result all round. When this is achieved successfully in an aquarium it is called a 'balanced aquarium'
No. Goldfish are freshwater fish and tropical starfish are saltwater fish.
A beta or goldfish might be able to grow
The best thing to do is ask the shopkeeper in the fish shop and find out first but goldfish go together with no problems if you are lucky because some goldfish can't live together. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldfish
If the goldfish is big enough and the guppies small enough, yes the guppies could well be eaten by the goldfish. Also, guppies should never be with guppies are guppies are tropical fish and goldfish are coldwater fish.
yes it is depending if the fish gives burth to live young then its not possible !!
no, goldfish are freshwater fish and coral only grows in saltwater, though they do occasionally eat plants
A common goldfish can be bred with a red cap oranda fish. When these fish breed, there is a definite courtship ritual.
no
Yes they can, I have a guppy (amongst other fish) with 4 goldfish together and they are very happily living together :)
The only time a goldfish is eaten by another goldfish is when the parents breed and they have eggs. The eggs hatch then the parents eat them because they mistake them for lava or something.if ur fully grown gold fish is eating another fully grown golfish then its not a goldfish at all!!!!!!!!CHECK FOR THE BREED in other cases.
yes mine has ate goldfish almost his whole life now hes up to 20 every two weeks he also eats fish food but if he doesnt get goldfish he will not eat fish food until he gets his goldfish and the books say its ok
You need to provide 1 gallon of water per inch of fish. Goldfish get along fine with other goldfish.
