castor beans
While the answer is debatable, the castor plant is high on the list. One castor bean can kill a person. The toxin ricin is derived from castor beans.
Deadliest plant on earth...Well that's alot of plants. My best guess would be the castor bean plant it produces castor beans which are used to make castor oil. However the beans have another ingredient, ricin which is very deadly and has been used in assasinations. It may only take one castor bean to kill an adult. Then again there are alot of plants on earth and there may be some competition with the castor plant. Water Hemlock might give the castor bean some competition. bacause GOD made them!
Ricin
No they're not, in fact some people even grow them ornamentally. I'm a hiker myself and have seen them growing both in gardens and wild. While there was a push in the past to make it illegal to grow the plant or distribute the seeds nothing ever came of it that I've heard of.
The castor plant, also known as the castor oil plant, is the source pf castor oil, a vitamin supplement and lubricant. It is also the source of ricin, a poison.
Ricin is a toxic substance that comes from the pressed leaves of the castor beans. If the beans of the castor plant are eaten, it could cause harm from the ricin that is formed by the action. Ricin can cause harm through ingestion, inhalation or through contact with the skin.
