Sometimes the can be in search of food. But the big reason is because they need to breath Oxygen. I had a golden mystery snail and i watch him climb all the way to the top of the tank. When he got to the surface he extended a tube out of the water and his body made a pumping movement which cause him to inhale a lot of air.
Hope this helps.
Yes, they can.
no!
snails mostly live on vegetables like lettuce.

Most fish tanks are built in plastics because platic does not break easily.Glass people still use now for their fish tanks at home but i rarely see them, because glass fish tanks can break easily although is transparent
There are several types of fish tanks available for purchase, including glass tanks, acrylic tanks, and custom-built tanks. Glass tanks are the most common and affordable option, while acrylic tanks are lighter and more durable. Custom-built tanks can be tailored to specific sizes and shapes.
No, snails and betta fish should not be kept together in the same tank as betta fish are known to be aggressive and may harm or even kill the snails. It is best to keep them in separate tanks to ensure their well-being.
You can buy algae control chemicals, but it will kill your snails if you have any. I use a scrub brush with a texture of SOS pads, but it's plastic so it wont scratch the glass.
fish in tanks are magnified by the glass and the water.......... in my round fish bowl my guppies look huge

Yes, betta fish can eat snails as part of their diet. Snails can provide a good source of protein for betta fish.
