Most have added sugar, glazes, chocolate, sprinkles, and so on to make them look better and taste sweeter, which makes the donuts more temptingly appealing. However, all it does it add extra sugar, fat and calories. Plain dounts are not terrible, as it is like a doughy pastry. They are fine for a treat every now and then, but are not the healthiest breakfast option that you can have every morning.
Well, honey, those blueberry donuts tasting like soap is probably because of the artificial flavoring used. It's like they tried to make them taste like a fresh blueberry but ended up with something that tastes more like a bar of soap. Maybe next time, stick to their coffee and leave the donuts for someone else.
Its easier to make them soft friend if in vegetable oil.. Gives it a richer taste.
