because if the plaster falls off in food you will be able to see it
Blue plasters, often used in food preparation environments, are specifically designed to be highly visible and easily identifiable. Their primary purpose is to cover minor cuts or wounds on workers' hands, helping to prevent contamination of food products. The blue color makes it easier to spot any potential foreign objects in food, enhancing safety and hygiene standards in kitchens and food processing areas.
Well... Plasters keep dirt and bad stuff out of it and to stop blood going everywhere. But cuts mostly need oxygen to heal. Plasters do give cuts scabs after a while. You should wear blue plasters while cooking because no natural/normal food is blue, so if it was to come off you would see it straight away, (Because if you wear a brown plaster, you might not see it and that would be gross!) Also they're stickier and less likely to fall off!! xxx
