Why is there a piece of chocolate cake on the front of the cool-whip container I being a visual person assumed it was chocolate cool whip I wasn't and my dessert was ruined?

Photos are added to product containers and boxes to send subliminal messages to consumers. The message was more than likely supposed to be "Cool Whip would be good with chocolate cake." However, your brain misinterpreted the message as "This must be chocolate Cool Whip."
