No but Thomas Edison wanted revenge on Alexander Graham Bell
Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton
Agreed in what? Please be more specific. If you mean by friends I heard he's a grumpy guy and rivals Thomas Edison.
Thomas Edison is often depicted as a complex figure; while he was a brilliant inventor and entrepreneur, his personality could be contentious. He was known for being competitive and at times ruthless in business, which led to conflicts with colleagues and rivals. Some accounts suggest he could be charming and personable, but his drive for success often overshadowed his interpersonal relationships. Overall, opinions on his niceness vary significantly depending on the perspective of those who interacted with him.
The inventor and founder of the Phone System was never a Nobel laureate. When the phone was commercially invented in l876- well, the Nobel prize did not exist. It should be noted Edison and Tesla were considered for a joint Nobel award but it did not go off as the two inventors were bitter rivals and had opposite orientations in many ways- they were not a team, so to speak, so a joint award well, would be Ac-DC. ( Tesla favored Ac, and Edison, for some applications- Direct Current ( there were Edison patents on Batteries- which are of necessity- DC)
Edison had a direct current generator that he could not work it properly. Tesla begun working for him. He was offered money to correct the equipment and he did in a short period of time. Edison was not man of his work so Tesla quit working for him. He got the patent of the direct current generator which without Tesla's help, he would not got it along with many patents he got which is the result of his employees he had at the time. Read the article I posted in the related links box below called the genius and the jerk. Since the 1870s, Edison began his campaign against Nikola Tesla. Second response. Thomas Alva Edison was the greatest inventor of all time. His 1,000 plus patents are an indication of Edison's brilliance.
His rival is Alexander Ovechkin ...and apparently some guy named Zac and Lenny Kravitz
They were long-time political rivals. Eventually is boiled over after Hamilton insulted Burr publically.
George Westinghouse, Jr was an American entrepenur and engineer who invented the railroad air brake and was a pioneer of the electrical industry. Westinghouse was one of Thomas Edison's main rivals in the early implementation of the American electricity system. Westinghouse's system using alternating current ultimately prevailed over Edison's insistence on direct current. In 1911, he received the AIEE Adisson's Medal 'For meritorious achievement in connection with the development of the alternating current system light'.
Roxana (Roxanne) was one of the three wives of Alexander the Great, and so was Queen of Macedonia, and by extension of Alexander's empire. She was a Persian princess of Bactria, and married Alexander in 327 BC, four years before his untimely death. Roxana and Alexander's son were killed in 310 BC to eliminate them as rivals.
Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr were bitter political rivals. Hamilton thought Burr was dishonest, disreputable and dangerous, which may or may not have been the truth, but was certainly Hamilton's belief. Hamilton developed animosity toward Burr when Burr won election to Congress, beating Alexander Hamilton's father-in-law, Philip Schuyler, who was the incumbent. Hamilton carried a grudge, undermined Burr whenever the opportunity arose, and was determined to ruin Burr's political career. Alexander Hamilton supported Thomas Jefferson because he hated Jefferson slightly less than he hated Burr. When the results of the election were finalized, Hamilton said, "At least Jefferson is honest."
Chief Justice John Marshall and President Thomas Jefferson were distant cousins, and bitter political rivals. Although related, the men despised each other.
