This is an old Ruthenian peasant dish, very popular in the Carpathian Alps, as well as here in Fair Oaks, CA. Great for warming the tummy on a cold winter day. This is easy to prepare, and good as a luncheon dish served with salad, or as a first course soup prior to a lighter entree. Combine all ingredients except macaroni in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 15 minutes. Add the cooked macaroni to soup. Heat a few minutes longer. Top each serving with a generous amount of parmesan cheese. Great with rye toast spread with garlic butter. What does boomba clot mean?

It is more correctly said as "bumble clot" to my understanding of it, though I have never seen it written out. It may also be used elsewhere, but I first heard it when I lived in Jamaica. There it is used as an extremely rude slang term used to compare the intended recipient of the slur to be as low as the equivalent of a blood clot from women's "time of the month". It is used when a person has done something perceived of as exceptionally stupid and lacking any common sense that has caused some kind of problem for the person doing the insulting.

How many crotchets equal a semibreve?

In music notation, a crotchet (quarter note) is typically equal to one quarter of the duration of a semibreve (whole note). Therefore, there are typically four crotchets in a semibreve. This relationship is based on the standard time signature of 4/4, where a semibreve receives four beats and each crotchet receives one beat.
