In the fifth book, Artemis is fourteen years old. I do not know the months though, because even though his birthday is on September first, I'm not entirley certain which month the story takes place in.
You'll just have to read the awsome book to understand but I'll tell you anyway. But his personality is cruel harsh and feels no guilt if he steals or commit crimes. He feels a bit just a bit of guilt when he captures holly so he returns her and half her ransom money. But later on in book 3,4 he starts getting a little soft. And he gets softer and softer throughoout the series.
