Are Katara and Zuko together

In the beginning, banished Prince Zuko has only one goal; capturing the Avatar. Katara is a companion of Aang and helps him, so she obviously doesn't. He is also cold, selfish, and arrogant in the beginning, and that is also a part of it.

However, in the final episode of Season 2, when Katara and Zuko are both captured, Katara gets to know Zuko better. He has changed and becomes a much better person, but is troubled about doing the right and wrong things and ends up betraying her. When he joins Aang's group, Katara is very reserved and suspicious of him, because of the betrayal. But they do come to a mutual respect for each other in the later episodes of Season 3 when Zuko is Aang's fire bending teacher.

• But as far as I'm concerned, there have been no romantically connections between them. Katara likes Aang more than Zuko.

The creators always planned for Aang to be with Katara. They never planned on Zuko being with Katara, and the idea that the two have romantic feelings for each other is fan-based. There are scenes that make it look like they could, but those are for adding spice.

i think they kindda like eatchother, zuko put his life on the line for her lots of times, and she was conceared about him when he got hurt by objects like lightnig and stuff like that......so theres that romantic thing

Zuko and Katara have no interest in each other in that way. Zuko has a romantic relation with Mai (or however u spell it). Katara likes Aang more than Zuko.

Although Zuko is in a relationship with Mai, and Katara (obviously) likes Aang, there is probably some attraction between Katara and Zuko, which is hinted at a little during the series (although a lot of that hinting is really the writing team teasing the fans of said pairing). So do they like each other? Hard to say... But they sure aren't canon.

The previous responders are all wrong. Based on the Avatar Extras, the writers originally made Zuko and Katara together. I am not sure the reason behind the change but here is the best proof i can give to you:

In Books 1 and 2, Zuko has an obvious disdain for Katara, meaning he doesn't like her at all. In Book 3, after Zuko joins the gang he is nice to Katara. However, this doesn't prove that he likes her. He's trying to be a good guy, so of course he'd be nice to her. He never shows any indication that he could like her as more than a friend. In the end of the series, he saves her from Azula, because that's what friends do.

Short answer: Yes, in the last season Zuko likes Katara as a friend. He does not love her.
