you need to do this over local wireless on your' c-gear don't do it in the Pokemon center though, if your'e entering somebody else's entralink you become a multiplayer avetar of your original charicter. (spoiler) you will play as your sleeping Pokemon you will have to send Pokemon to to get the Pokemon you befriended with from the tree to entralink
