What game are you playing? What move set do they have? First off, you'll always want to keep a psychic type around, most have very high special attack or special defense or both, which is crucial. Secondly, psychic moves are super-effective against MANY types of Pokemon, and even if it's not super-effective, most Pokemon don't have high special defense, so you usually KO most Pokemon in one or two hits of psybeam or psychic. Lastly, strong psychic types are some of the easiest to come by in almost all Pokemon games. So a high level Kadabra or Alakazam usually finds it's way into most teams. Also, try Gardevoir if you're playing emerald/ruby/sapphire, or get your hands on one whichever way you can. It learns psychic moves, calm mind, and magical leaf, making it very versatile. It's also very fast with high attack ratings. I like Metagross, Infernape, Salamence and Swampert, but I'd replace Blissey with a legendary of whatever type, and I'd replace Roserade with Gardevoir or an Alakazam. My current team is Tyranitar, Dialga, Ho-Oh, Lucario, either Suicune or Lugia, and either Mewtwo or Raikou. It's very well rounded and although very difficult to put together (I own two DS systems, diamond, heartgold and emerald) I've been hard pressed to find anyone you can beat it. , happy battling.

i think it is. if i were u, i would think about changing salamece to a legendary. salamence is weak against dragon. and if it is in Heart gold or Soul Silver, ur gonna have hard time with lance. go with jirachi. it can learn Draco meteor
I trained my swampert to lv. 100 but a water Pokemon in 80s is good too. Also good to bring grass Pokemon in 80s.Answermy team had a swampert (52) a salamence (50) raquaza (80) groudon (74) kyogre (73) metagross (47)
You should change: gyarados to swampert Dialga to Lucario Infernape to Rapidash with Flash Fire as an ability Ambipom to Staraptor/gliscor/Scizor Make sure You have the right moves
Salamence Swampert Swellow Sceptile Latias Blaziken Since Salamence covers dragon and flying nicely, you could take out Swellow and Latias and then bring in a Metagross, and also bring in some ice support with something like Glaile or another ice type from a different game.
swampert. gardevor. salamence. swellow. torkal. gengar.
