- Corey Feldman remained close to his best friend Corey Haim after they grew up in the movie industry together as teenagers. Now settled down, Feldman and his wife tried their best to help Haim, but often seemed frustrated by him as shown on the trio's scripted reality show "The Two Coreys". It was a rough road as Haim seemed to be in denial about the extent of his problem, though he was trying his best to stay clean. Eventually through pressure from Feldman's wife, Feldman asked Haim to leave his house. After a few months, both Feldman and his wife repaired their friendship with him off-camera. After appearing in small roles in films such as "Crank 2: High Voltage", and the DVD titles "Shark City" and "American Sunset", Haim was starting to build a career in the industry again when he suddenly passed away of pneumonia.
- At the time of his death, Haim was spending time with Feldman working on a sequel to their 1980s hit comedy 'License To Drive', called 'License to Fly', an idea he came up with.
