Corey Haim was indeed a good-looking young man, and became a heartthrob for teenage girls all over the world in the 1980s. After films such as 'Lucas' and 'License to Drive', Haim was on top for a while until he became hooked on cocaine and eventually prescription drugs (he first smoked a joint at fifteen while making the vampire movie 'The Lost Boys'). He became a liability on set, and the studios could not trust him to be clean. Corey lost his career by twenty. Later, the TV series 'The Two Coreys' aired for two seasons. It showed Haim's best friend, fellow actor Corey Feldman and his wife trying to help him get over his addiction, but after realizing he was enabling him more than helping him, Feldman pledged not to work with Haim again until he got clean. Thankfully Haim gave it his best shot and went on to make films such as 'Crank 2: High Voltage' and 'American Sunset', but sadly died of pneumonia before he was able to make a true comeback.

Unfortunately, all signs point to "yes." There are several sites that make mention of an altercation that occurred on the set of their movie Firstborn. Corey approached Weller after a take to compliment him on his performance. Instead of thanking the young novice actor, Weller furiously pinned him against a wall and threatened him against ever talking to him after a take. See related link below for more information. Ironically enough, the performance on which Haim was complimenting Weller was that of an unhinged, abusive drug addict. Hmm...Perhaps there is something to be said for typecasting.
Between the cancellation of "The Two Coreys" in 2008 and his death on March 10, 2010, Corey starred in the films "Crank 2: High Voltage", "Shark City", "American Sunset" and "Decisions". Corey was attached to several projects such as "The Science of Cool" (with Mischa Barton and Steve Guttenberg) and also slated to make his directing debut, when he passed away aged 38 of pneumonia.

According to a post on Corey Feldman's blog called "Back from the Dead" posted in August, 2009, they are indeed speaking. Feldman says this... On another positive note i have had the opportunity to catch up with some of my old friends lately. One of which you will have particular feelings about…..drum roll please………..Corey Haim! Yes that's right haim and I finally spoke for the first time in over a year. He called to make a truce and for the record there was never an issue worthy of trucing.
