Cho kissed Harry because she liked him, she even says: 'I really like you Harry,' right before she kisses him. Harry Potter had a huge crush on Cho Chang but they just fell apart very soon after they started going out. Cho wen't out with other guys and Harry started liking Ginny the next year.
