In the beginning of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Hermione Granger explains that she put a heavy memory charm on her parents so that they would forget her. She then says if she survives, she will find them and lift it.
Hermione did survive and travelled to Australia to find her parents. She then reversed the charm and brought them home.

∙ 11y agoIt was never fully explained in the movie what Hermione actually did to her parents but it is in the books which can cause confusion for those who have only seen the movie.
Hermione modified her parents memory to make them believe they were called Monica and Wendell Wilkins who didn't have any children and who wanted to move to Australia. Hermione did this to protect them so they when the death eaters came looking for her, they would be gone. She also hoped that the death eaters would think Hermione had gone with them and it meant that if Hermione died, her parents wouldn't miss her since they didn't know she existed.
After the battle was over, she found her parents, reversed the spell and brought them back to England.

The book never says anything about it, but in an interview JK Rowling reveals this.

We do not know for sure. We just know she was married before she was thirty seven. Hermione did go back to Hogwarts for her seventh year so she would have been nineteen, almost twenty, by the time she finished Hogwarts.
