Nothing direct, but there was sort of a charity motive in some of her later pictures which were serious dramas, not comedies or musicals- and had serious social content, not beyond the Rainbow stuff. I am speaking of the films ( A child is waiting) dealing with child adoption and care, and the still-disturbing but with no on-screen violence mammoth war drama of a judicial sort- Judgement at Nuremburg., It is said she undertook the project at a fraction of her normal salary rate, as did other actors who wanted to be in on this powerful project. as far as i know she was not active ( Up Front) in Charitable works- unlike say Danny Kaye and his works with UNICEF. but simply being in these ( Messagey) movies made a stand. Many actors and actresses would Dodge films like this... but...
