I saw Arthur Godfrey on a talk show many, many years ago where he told the story of being aboard ship and seeing his father near his bunk - at the time the dad actually died. Godfrey told the show's host that the "ghost" said "Hello bunkie" and that Godfrey could "never figure it out."
