She is in "The Killing Joke".
No. As far as the public knows Darren Criss did not and does not cut himself. If he did, that's none out business anyway.
The Joker's wife is often referred to as Harley Quinn. Originally introduced as a character in "Batman: The Animated Series," she is Dr. Harleen Quinzel, a former psychiatrist who becomes infatuated with the Joker and adopts the persona of Harley Quinn. Her character has evolved in various comic books, animated series, and films, becoming a popular anti-hero in her own right.

Harley Quinn is the Joker's only romantic interest in the comicsAlso, the Joker in the comic strip "The Killing Joke", he has a pregnant wife named JeannieThere are too many strips from different creators that have the Joker having a wife and family before he goes "super-sane"There is no definite backstory----------------------------------------Actually, the Joker has no romantic interest in Harley at all. When it was decided that he was a sociopath instead of a psychopath, it didn't make sense for him to form a loving bond with a woman, like in the non-canon Legends of the Dark Knight story "Going Sane," in which his depiction was like a setback to the Golden & Bronze ages of comics. In the latest origin story "Lovers & Madmen" which is not told by the Joker's point of view, the Joker was a nomadic gun-for-hire & there was no mention of a wife. In the canceled "Gotham Knights" series, the Joker paid the Riddler to find out what happened to Jeannie, but it was faux pas, because it made a reference to an origin story as if it were official, & the fact that no one living has ever come forth to the police with clues to the Joker's identity, it would make sense that if he'd had a wife, he'd have killed her himself. In the end, the only person the Joker has any kind of bond with is Batman himself.

honestly i think both of them are good and playing the joker but on the more phyco side of the joker the best would be Jack Nicholson. I personally think that Heath is better as he completely transforms himself into the Joker. You see no trace of him in that role. He changed everything about himself including his look, personality, speech, posture etc.
In "The Batman" animated TV show, Joker disguises himself as Batman in the "The Laughing Bat" episode.

the first story the joker said was when he was with those men making a deal and he said that when he was younger his father was very drunk and his mom took out the knife to defend her self but he took it then came up to him and cut him on both sides of the mouth. the second story he told Katy that his wife had been carved? and they didn't have enough money for surgery her to feel ugly so he gave himself those scares. then he told batmen that he wanted to look like a fool like him. which one do you think it is?
The Joker is actually Tim Drake (Robin)Tim drake was the Jokers last victim before he died.Basically what Joker did is place a microchip (to me it looked like a mole) on the back of Tim's neck with his DNA on it. Several years passed and the DNA from the micro chip started to transform Tim Drake into the Joker. When Tim turned into the Joker, "Joker" would have complete controle over Tim an knew everything that Tim knew. When Tim turned back into himself he would remember nothing of what had happened.
