Probably, although it was never delivered to him by Wilde, who entrusted it to Ross.

The story goes that Bosie tore up after reading the first few pages of the copy given to him by Ross and later reads the abridged version that many others saw.

Bosie wrote a poem called De Profundis (not sure when) where he obviously refers to Wilde in prison and probably Wilde's De Profundis as " a song/ Sung in a prison by the lips of fear"
