If the face-down monster is tributed, then no, any Flip Effects it has will not activate. Under normal conditions therefore, you should flip the monster first, allow the effect to activate/resolve, then tribute the monster for whatever.
But you are out of luck if your face-down Flip Effect monster is tributed by the opponent using Soul Exchange, for example. Because it never 'Flips' (even though it goes to the graveyard face up) the effect will not activate.

No. Flip Effects only activate when the card is flipped, which will happen when Flip Summoned, or when the monster is attacked, or when an effect specifically directs it to be turned face up. Simply destroying a face-down monster, or removing it from play, does not 'flip' it, so Flip Effects will not activate.

No, Synchro components are not 'tributed', they are just 'sent'. Monsters who can't be tributed can still be used as components for a Synchro Summon, and "Mask of Restrict" does not prevent the summon either.
Can the flip video work on a Mac?
I have a Flip Mino, and when I plug it into the Mac, it doesn't work. The Flip creates .AVI files, when the Mac uses .m4v. I transferred it and it still wouldn't work! So, if you have a Mac, I recommend you not to get a Flip. I will test the Sony Bloggie Witt eh Mac, and it whil hopefully work.
Can you combo Kickfire's effect with Spiritual Fire Art Kurenai's effect in Yu-Gi-Oh?
No, there is no synergy. Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai tributes a monster as a cost. Tributed monsters do not count as being 'destroyed', effects that trigger from monster destruction will not activate when a monster is tributed. In the case of Kickfire, you would not be able to place a counter on it, as the FIRE monster was not destroyed.
