When you really think about it, Reshiram has superior stats and in this version of game Fire type Pokemon are most useful. (think about the gym leaders and most pokemon. I hope you all understand my point. Plus Reshiram looks like an angel pokemon (white and blue eyes) while Zekrom looks like a demon pokemon (black and red eyes). So in Pokemon Black version when you face off against N and his Zekrom, you look like the good guy (which you are) by using the angel pokemon fighting against the bad guy and his demon pokemon.
