yea. most people will give you a list of type that are "attack" or "special attack" based. However this is actually FALSE. your attack and defense stats respectively are what power attacks that physically touch your opponent or defend from physical hits. Special attack and defense do the same thing. that's why ice fang and flame wheel(just two examples) are attack based stats. despite being fire and ice type which most people say is special attack..use a x spec defend and youll find it does nothing.
