They would have had many forms of entertainment, some of them rather cruel to our modern sensibilities. For example, bear baiting, bull baiting, dog fighting, cockerel fighting, hunting (with dogs and hawks), jousting, dancing (Henry VIII and Elizabeth I loved dancing, and both danced well), music (again something Henry VIII and Elizabeth I excelled at).

The differences between clothing worn by the rich and poor in Elizabethan times would have been quite marked. The rich would have been able to afford silks and brocades, laces, furs and finest weaves, linens, leathers and jewellery. Whereas the poorer classes would have been wearing clothes made from the cheapest materials, rougher weaves, animal hides, coarse woollen items. There wasn't much washing going on, so they would have all been fairly equally unhygienic. The other main difference would be the fact that the upper classes could afford to follow fashion, as can be seen by the many images on the internet of Elizabethan men and women of the court of Queen Elizabeth I.
Shakespeare lived and wrote in the Elizabethan Era, the English Renaissance.
During Elizabethan times there were diseases going through large cities, like the black plague, dysentery and typhoid. They had various cures for these diseases (what they thought were cures) like tobacco, dried toad, bleed out of the victim and arsenic. Some people died from lack of hygiene. People never washed their hands, rarely ever took a bath and didn't brush their teeth or their hair. Living conditions during Elizabethan times were very poor which led to many diseases and death.
In Elizabethan theaters, flags were flown on the day of the performance to alert the people. The color of the flags indicated the type of play that was going to be performed. The color black symbolized a tragedy and comedy had a white flag.
I'm assuming you mean when a play was about to be performed in the Globe theatre or one of the other Elizabethan theatre during Shakespearean times. If so, then people knew that a play was about to begin because a trumpet would be sounded.
