How To Catch Articuno in soul silver?

I've catched it a really easy way. When you're in Fuschia city, make sure you've greatballs and ultra balls. Then, surf over to the cave. After you've completed the boulder maze, Articuno is on this bit of land. when you're on the land save it. Then go up to it and it will challenge you.Make articuno on red, but DO NOT make it have a status.After wards, start throwing greatballs at it, and in a few goes you would have caught it.

But iam just warning you, i think it would be a good idea if you DID NOT throw the master ball at it, because through out the entire game, articuno is the easiest ledgenary Pokemon to be caught. I hope this helps.

In Pokemon Platinum, you can catch all three birds by: Obtaining the National Pokedex by completing your Sinnoh dex, go to route 221(pal park) and talk to Professor Oak and he will say meet me in my house in eterna City. so go to eterna city after that and go to the last house before cycling road and he will say that the three birds are roaming sinnoh and you can catch them :D

Um Artincuno in the Seafoam Island you need to push 2 boulders down so the fast current stops and you swim over and see a bird & its articuno

Moltres is in Victory road

Zapdos is in the Power Plant

by finding and using a master ball. You don't even need to use a master ball. Get some ultra balls and go down into seafiom islands and down in the cave you will find him. Weaken it until it has very low health then put it to sleep and throw an ultra ball. I did that and caught right away.

Articuno is very difficult to capture i suggest using the masterball. What I did was lowered it's health a lot and used sleep powder and put it to sleep. I threw an ultra ball and caught it right then and there. If you picked Bulbasaur as your starter then he will learn sllep powder at around level 50.

In order to catch Articuno in Pokémon X and Y, you must pick Chespin as your starter at the beginning of your adventure.
After you beat the Elite Four, you'll randomly find Articuno in the grass but it will flee right away. After you encounter it around dozen times, it can then be found and caught inside the Sea Spirit's Den at Azure Bay (HM03 Surf required), which is near Route 12 or Coumarine City.
The easiest way to find Articuno is by using the Pokédex but keep in mind that it will change its location every time you use the HM01 Fly to get to another Town/City.

It is most certainly possible to do so. It can even be done with a regular Poke Ball. If you're having a difficult time catching it, you're just unlucky. Don't worry - you'll capture it eventually.
