How can you catch chansey in FireRed?

First, go to the Safari Zone. Pay 500 bucks and go inside. Then, go to the right side of the zone because Chansey is always there but hard to find. Then, if you see her, instead of throwing bait, throw a rock. And when Chansey is angry, throw a safari ball(don't worry if you waste 1 safari ball, you have 30 safari balls!) And remember sometimes if you throw rocks it goes away. If it does... look at the grass your stepping at, so that grass is where you caught chansey... and turn around and around, till a Pokemon wants to battle with you, and maybe that's chansey or it's a random Pokemon!

In the Safari Zone it's located in the entrance, but is SUPER RARE! And it's super hard to catch; I haven't even caught it yet. Because everytime I try to catch it. IT FLEES! But I wish you the best of luck. Ok. Try this. It helped me catch Zapdos. But it works with a normal Pokéball. But since it's in the safari zone, you can't use the Poké ball unless you cheat and use the walk-through walls code, too walk past the attendant and smuggle the Poké balls in. Here's what you do. As soon as you throw out the Poké ball quickly press: A, B, Y, X, L, R, Right, up, left and down on the D-Pad. It works on the D.S

The only way to get it is through the safari zone however Pokemon xd gale of darkness can get a shadow chansey which is much easier to capture once you beat the game and purify the chansey you can give it to firered.

It might be just luck to catch a Chansey in FireRed. The way I did it was (when I met one) Ball, Bait, and then Ball. Unexplicable, but I did catch Chansey that way.
