How can you look like Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson series?

For Percy I would make my hair slightly messy and dye it/ colored hairspray it black and get green contacts. I would also make an orange Camp Half-Blood tshirt and carry around a ballpoint pen.

For Annabeth I would dye/ color hairspray my hair dirty blonde and put it in a messy side pony, and get stormy grey contacts. Also I would get owl earrings and a FAKE knife like the one she has.

For Grover I would get one of those rasta caps with fake dreads (unless u already have dreads, lol) and glue little fake horns to the top, and get a mini little fake beard. For his furry goat legs I would buy a half-wolf costume and use that for his legs.

For Thalia, I would dye/color hairspray my hair black and put in a bunch of neon-colored extensions and random little braids. I'd also use a TON of black eyeliner. I'd also get an old army jacket like she has and get a bunch of Green Day buttons or something. Then I'd get a trash can lid and make her Medusa shield from that.

Everyone knows Annabeth has blonde curly hair. If you already have that, you don't need any changes. But if you don't, you should get a wig that looks like that. The second thing you need is gray eyes. Most people don't have them, so you could get colored contacts. If you want to dress like her, you need a Camp Half-Blood T-shirt, jeans, sneakers, a New York Yankees hat and a fake dagger. (I'd assume this is at Party City or other costume shops.)

It's funny you mention that because my friends are all so obsessed with Percy Jackson we dressed up as Annabeth, Thalia and Percy for Halloween. I was Annabeth, my best guy friend was Percy and my best girl friend was Thalia (which worked because she's a bit goth a 'death to barbie' or pretty much death to anything pink).So basically, for Percy Jackson my guy friend wore an orange Camp Half Blood shirt (can be easily found online) and we made camp necklaces with thick beads and string. He also got blue-green contacts, which in my opinion, really weren't necessary, but people said it looked better, so you never know. He also brought in the fake sword Riptide (but it got confiscated in school, but he got it back). All in all, the costume was fairly simple.If you want Annabeth's and Thalia's costume, let me know...somehow...

Try to make yourself look like the picture in The Demigod Files. She would be hard to make, but I'm sure you can do it! :)

Search online for an orange t-shirt that says "Camp Half-Blood" with a Pegasus silhouette underneath. If you can't find one, buy a standard orange t-shirt and write "Camp Half-Blood" on it with black clothing markers or a Sharpie. Also draw the unicorn silhouette (if you can't, try to find a stencil online and use that).

Then find a pair of denim shorts, not super-short, preferably. Make sure they look at least slightly worn-out and sunbleached. If it's too cold for shorts, then buy similar jeans.

Find some sneakers. Any sneakers will do, really, but standard white would be best. Wear them with low-cut no-show socks.

If you are not blonde and you really want the whole look, then get some golden-blonde hair dye. Likewise, if your eyes are not gray, then you could try to find color contacts if you really wanted to. (Annabeth's eyes are a stormy, dark gray.) Put your hair up in a high ponytail.

Then get a New York Yankees cap; white with a dark-blue brim and emblem. Put your ponytail through the back. (This represents Annabeth's invisibility cap.)

Annabeth also carries a dagger. See if you can find a belt with a knife holster and a plastic knife and put it around your waist.

It looks like a lot, but you probably have at least a few of these things on hand. Good luck!
