How can you trade with a Pokemon?

If on Pokemon indigo: firstly you go on your battle team. then you click on the Pokemon you want to trade and it gives you information about the Pokemon. When you scroll down you will find "put Articuno on trade centre" (this is a example of what Pokemon you would put up), you click on that and it will take you to what you want to trade it for. It will say friend username. You enter the user name of your friend that you want to trade with. Tell your friend to go on the trade centre and if you go on "possible trades" it will say i have a articuno to change you for a Turtwig. if you click on it a window will pop and ask if you are sure about trading your Pokemon.

If you want to take your Pokemon off the trade centre you go on your battle team and click on the Pokemon you had put on the trade centre. It will give you information and then will say "take articuno off trade centre".

go upstairs in the pokémon centre, and enter the room with the wanabe nurse joy in the middle, it's called the union room. BTW: you need a friend to trade with to do this; then when you're in talk to the friend when they have entered, and click on trade:) then select the pokémon from your party you would like to trade with them, and VIOLA!;D

You Must use a Wireless Adapter or a Link Cable to trade with others.However, if you have a DS,which uses Wi-Fi,you don't need one.
