Many physicists believes that upper-dimensional travel is a theoretical plausibility.

There are theoretical wormholes created through the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th dimensions which in theory should be traversal.

Although, humans would probably not survive a travel through the 7th, 8th or 9th dimension, due to the alternate physical rules of other universes.

Is it possible to travel between dimensions?

Scientists have been and are still working hard to check on different dimensions and if travelling is actually possible between dimensions.

What would be the result of adding the fifth dimension to the other four in terms of space travel?

Well current superstring theory, requires that there be at least ten dimensions in the universe. However it does not explain why we are only able to observe four of these dimensions. Some versions of string theory require that there be at least 26 dimensions in the universe. So there are already more than the five dimensions you are curious about.

What is Tobi's justu?

Tobi is actually Madara Uchiha and he can travel freely between dimensions, hence making it impossible to hit him.

How many dimensions are respectably embraced by science in 2012?

Depends what you mean by "respectably." M Theory, a type of string theory, requires the existence of eleven dimensions in which the strings can vibrate. If you consider M Theory to be "respectable," then the answer is eleven. If your view of M Theory is that, "It's so bad a theory that it's not even wrong," then you might say that eleven dimensions is not respectable.

What are the dimensions of universe?

According to String Theory, there are ten dimensions in the universe and plus time which makes it eleven.

Are there any formulas for other dimensions?

Sort of. Superstring theory is solvable only in 11 dimensions. Whether or not these dimension exist and what they mean is still to be determined. Google "string theory".

What is the difference between Superstring Theory and Bosonic String Theory?

Superstring theory incorporates supersymmetry, which also allows it to describe fermions. Supersymmetry, of course, is the idea that there exists a corresponding boson for every fermion and a corresponding fermion for every boson. A nice consequence of incorporating supersymmetry is that superstring theory only needs 10 dimensions to be consistent (or without logical contradictions), while bosonic string theory requires 26. The most recent version of the Superstring theory incorporates 11 dimensions.

How many temporal dimensions are possible within String Theory?

String Theory (as its predecessors Relativity and Quantum Mechanics) has only one dimension of time. However it has many more dimensions of space than its predecessors (both had 3 dimensions), as the simplest version of String Theory must have 10 dimensions of space, while more complex versions require more (with no defined upper limit known). The big question is "Why can't we detect those additional 7+ dimensions of space that must be present if String Theory is true?".

How many dimensions do atoms have?

[At least] Three. There could be more if string theory or the theory of branes proves to be true.
