Mr. Disney tells the story himself in the movie THE Walt Disney STORY which is shown inside of ONE MAN'S DREAM in Disney's Hollywood Studios. He took his daughters to an amusement park one Sunday. The park was small, dark, and dirty. He sat on a bench and watched his girls ride the carousel. And there he had the idea that there should be a place -- clean and bright -- where parents and children can share the fun of the attractions together.

Walt Disney created Disney when he was bored. Scibbling on a piece of paper he first created Mickey Mouse. Fact: The Disney theme parks address is 1313 people suppose this is because M is the thirteenth letter in the alphabet. 13 = M. Mickey Mouse 1313.

Alright the fact is true but where the heck did you find that answer? Do you know anything? He wasn't bored oswald the lucky rabbit was taken away from him because of the contract and copyright issue so he was desperate and on a train with his wife he made up MORTIMER MOUSE from a pet mouse he named mortimer.

His wife lilian thought it was a dumb name and thought mickey was better. He then renamed mortimer to mickey and made 4 Cartoons with ub Iwerks, a soon-to-be disney animator. one of them, Steamboat willie was sent to the theater and was a hit. Mortimer was later used as a disney villian. Then began the legacy.

Now that's the real answer.

Well before Disney World, he filmed a lot of his movies like Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty! And came up with his characters like Oswlad, and Mickey. Then he decided to buy the land and continue to add on to it. (This was Disney World) His dream was to also never stop adding on to it. And there now making the Beast's castle in Disney World!

As Walt recounts it, while visiting Griffith Park and watching his daughters ride a merry-go-round, it occurred to him that there was no amusement park that would be enjoyable for both children and adults. He also noted that many people wanted to visit his studios -- but not to see animators at work, but to be around the Disney characters. Combine that with Walt's lifelong love of trains, a nostalgia for the small town of his youth, his fascination with future technology, and a desire for profit (never far from Walt's mind); and Disneyland went from whimsical idea to plan.

Walt laid out the initial design based on his EPCOT idea adopting the theme park attributes of Disneyland. He personally selected the location and oversaw the initial land development. However, he didn't live to see it completed. It opened four years after his death.
