How do catch Groudon in SoulSilver?

First, go to Mt. Mortar and use dig to get out of there. then at the exit, your mom will be there. talk to her, and she will tell you that professor oak is waiting for you in Pallet Town. go there, and he will tell you that Cinnabar Island Volcano has opened up. go there and Groudon will be waiting for you. bring some Ultra Balls, your going to need him to catch this level 85 menace. What that is false.

First you must go to Mt. Silver. One Pokemon will need to know Rock Climb. Then, travel to the very top of Mt. Silver. You might want to bring many Max Repels too. Challenge Red. Save before you battle him though, because if you lose, you will have to scale Mt. Silver again. His Pokemon are in the high 80's. Then, visit Professor Oak. He will let you have either Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle. After that visit Mr. Pokemon. He will give you the Red Orb. Then go to Cianwood. go to the route that leads yo the safari zone. go in the cave and go down to the water. make sure you have a Pokemon with the hm surf and whirlpool. and i believe rock climb as well. go inside of course and then battle groudon. just so ya kno make sure you have some good Pokemon with you. i caught groundon with a master ball. hes level 50. he has earth power eruption and some other moves. his ability is drought. have fun!

First you have to beat all 16 gyms. Then defeat Red on top of Mt. Silver. Next go to Mr. Pokemon's house on Rte. 30 and he will give you the red orb. Fly back to cianwood city and enter the cave that leads to the safari zone. After you go through that entrance cave, walk along and go in the next cave you come to, which has 2 ladders in it. Take the down ladder and exit the cave. Now surf west until you come to a ledge where you can use Rock Climb. Climb up and you will come to the Embedded Tower. Go in and Groudon will be there for you to battle/catch.

you get the national pokedex then you beat all 8 kanto gym leaders after thet you beat the elite four again the fight red on the top of mt. silver after you get one of the kanto starters from professer oakand you also get the red/blue orb from oak then go to the embedded chamber near the safari zone and youll groudon at lvl 50

yes you can! you first need to beat the game, which means also beat all kanto, and johto league gyms even the elite four and the champion, go to mr.pokemon in johto. he will give you a red orb if you are playing soulsilver and blue orb if you are playing heart gold. if you already contain the red and blue orb or kyogre and groudon(must be in your party), he will give you the green orb. go through that small cave with the lady saying something like go this way to get to the safari zone. go on the route to the safari zone. through the caves get as deep as possibe until you find a surf area. then surf. next if you go keep on going left, you should find this area where you can climb up. then you should find a cave, enter it, you will arrive in some kind of ruins, if you have the red orb, groudon should be in front of you, but if you have the blue orb, kyogre should be in front of you, if you have the green orb, reqiuayza should be in front of you.

Groundon is in the Embedded Tower. You will need the Red Orb which you obtain after defeating the Pokemon League from the Professor.

The Embedded Tower is on the route to the Safari Zone, and you will need Surf and Rock Climb. Groundon is level 40. I wouldn't bother using the Master Ball.
