Through a combination of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide that travels through what scientists refer to as the 'respiratory system'. This, however, is not enough to sustain life in Switzerland. They must also maintain energy through the consumption of food products, such as potatoes, rye, barley, apples, and grapes, among other things, which travels through the "digestive system". A third component to life in Switzerland is a routine of sleep, sometimes alone, sometimes with other humans, which revitalizes the body. They can some times live without some of those things, but just some of them.
