How do you catch Salamence in Pokemon Ranger besides circling it while it flies?

The trick to catching Salamence in Pokemon Ranger is strategy. You have noticed that Salamence flys alot and crashes down. The trick to capturing it is using various PokeAssists. Try capturing a Fighting-type Pokemon before hand - or if you can't capture or take a Pokemon into the challenge, use Plusle or Minum's Assist.
Circle Salamence quickly while it is paralysed. The rest is all up to skill and chance.
Update:
Personally I don't find a reason to use your Poke Assist, just wait for it to jump into the air, if you really are scared of it coming down to early use Plusle or Minun, but otherwise you can see it's shadow and just circle it's shadow, the shadow becomes bigger as it comes crashing down (I think, it's been so long since I caught Salamence)
