How do you defeat Ghetsis in Pokemon White Version?

a fire type

a strong level Pokemon

one with high special def.

its best moves are leech seed and leaf blade/storm/tornado so don't use some water, rock or ground type Pokemon and bring plenty of potions and revives.

Ghetsis was a pain. If you have failed your first try, you will be able to go back to battle him. If you haven't, I suggest you just purposely die after you defeat N. Unless, you want to try, but I'm assuming you asked this question because you failed your first try. Now, this was my strategy when I couldn't defeat him: USE X ITEMS!!! They are your best friend! If you haven't found any use for them until this point, buy them now! Okay, here is a very good strategy. It is time consuming, and uses up most of your cash, but I beat Ghetsis with this strategy by only using one Pokemon!

1. Go to Shopping Mall Nine on Route 9. Go to the top floor an go to the X item shop. Here is what you should buy : 10 X Attacks, 10 X Defends, 10 X Speeds, 10 Sp. Atk, and 10 Sp.Def. Don't worry, I'll explain why you need them later.

2. Go downstairs to the General Section and buy the following: 20+ Full Restores, 10+ Revives. You will really need these!

3. Now, it's time to choose the lucky Pokemon who will sweep his team. You can use your Zekrom, if you like. However, if you have another strong Pokemon, preferably a Dragon type, it will do especially well. For example, I used my Haxorus for this battle, and just overused Dragon Dance for the fight, coupled by the moves Dragon Claw, Earthquake, and X-Scissor. Give your Pokemon a good hold item, like the Leftovers, or a type-boosting item, like the Dragon Fang.

4. Now, talk to the Team Plasma Grunt in the Pokemon Center in the Elite Four. He will transport you back to the castle. Proceed up the many stairs and talk to Ghetsis. The fight will immediately begin!

5. Okay, it's time for your patience skills! Ghetsis will send out his Cofagrigus first. Now, here is the time to use your X Items! Cofagrigus will probably either use Toxic or Shadow Ball on you. This is why we also picked up all those Full Restores! Now, use about 6 X Special Defends, using your Full Restores when your HP hits the Yellow. You want to be better safe than sorry, because when I was setting up my defenses and in the Yellow, Shadow Ball got a Critical Hit on my Haxorus, and I had to use a Revive and do it all over again! Then, after you do that, use about 2-6 X Speeds, depending on how slow you are. Remember, if you have the really awesome Dragon Dance move, or other moves such as Agility, Cotton Guard, Swords Dance, Hone Claws and others, are really good moves and should be used in place of the appropriate items. Also, use the appropriate Attack X Items as well. For example, if you're using Zekrom, you would use a X Sp. Atk because you would use DragonBreath as your main attack. (Don't rely on Fusion Bolt or Zen Headbutt) After your main Pokemon is in Green health, has 6 X Items or stat increases for Defense, Sp. Defense, Speed, and Attack/Special Attack, you're ready to start attacking! Use your strongest move that is the category of what X Item you used, and has good accuracy. (I count 95-perfect accuracy good) You should be able to defeat Ghetsis with ease. Even Hydreigon won't be able to hurt you!
