I'm pretty sure that you can't catch a pichu in soulsilver but the evolution Pikachu can be found after you defeat 6 of 8 Kanto gym leaders. To make it a Raichu either train it to a certain level or go to the Pokeathlon Dome in National Park in Johto and get a Thunderstone from the Athlete shop then use it on Pikachu he will evolve to Raichu. ∙ 14y agoPidgey evolves into Pidgeotto at level 18. Pidgeotto evolves into Pidgeot at level 36. Either catch a Pidgey, then evolve it into Pidgeotto at level 18, and then again at level 36, or catch a Pidgeotto and evolve it at level 36.

∙ 13y agoTo get a pichu, first get a pikachu and a ditto (or a pikachu of the opposite gender). Pikachus can be found in the Viridian Forest. Then, deposit your pikachu and ditto in the daycare. Ride your bike up and down Goldenrod City a few times until the Day Care man has an egg for you. The egg contains a level 1 pichu that is easily hatched.

∙ 13y agoYou can not immediately catch pidgeot in the game. You have to evolve it from pidgeotto at level 36. The best place to find pidgeotto is route 8. However, never look for pidgeotto at night. You have a 0% chance at night.

∙ 14y agoYou get a Pidgeot by first evolving Pidgey into Pidgeotto on level 18, then evolving your Pidgeotto to Pidgeot on level 36.
