- Perform the Masuda Method, which is about two Pokemon from different countries in the Day-Care. This drastically decreases the Shiny rate and they can be often found, but it still requires a lot of hatching if not lucky.
- Use the PokeRadar in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum in Eterna Forest to repeatedly find Buneary until a grass shines pink. It roughly decreases the rate to 1/42. When you find it, you can transfer it to Pokemon Black 2.
- Complete the National Dex and obtain the Shiny Charm, which also increases the chances of finding a shiny Pokemon.
