There are no held items in Yellow, but you get the Exp. All (which gives all your Pokemon exp when it is in your bag) when you have caught 50 Pokemon and talked to Prof. Oak's aide on the top floor of the gate west of Fuschia City.

Go to the Battle Company building and go to the 55th floor.
You get it as a reward for beating the Janitor, I think his name is Geoff.
There's a few people you battle there.
The Lucky Egg is another good way to train up pokeon quicker. You get the lucky egg from Professor Juniper after entering that electric cave (Chargestone cave).

1.Go to Castelia City and head towards Battle Company. The janitor will be standing there. After he speaks to you, go to the 55th floor( unless you want to train up you team), go to the janitor and he will battle you. His Pokemon are level 20. When you beat him, you will receive an exp. share.
2. In Iccucus City, go to the Pokemon Fanclub. Talk to the man and show him one of your Pokemon. (Pending on the Pokemon's level, you might not be able to receive it the first time.) After you show him the Pokemon, you will receive the " hidden" exp share.
