Sadly the only way to get it in Diamond or Pearl is to use the PokéRadar within Route 208 and the West part of Route 211 in order to find and catch its pre-evolved form of Tyrogue then train it until it reaches its evolution level of Level 20. Also keep in mind that Tyrogue's attack has to be lower than its defense in order to evolve into Hitmonlee.
You have to catch a tyrogue and make sure it has the nature you want it to have because you can't breed it to get the nature you want without having to catch a ditto, and get an everstone. A good method is to use a Pokemon with synchronize, i.e. espeon, with the nature of bold, because that increases attack, and lowers defense. If you find a tyrogue while espeon leads your party, his nature is very likely to be the same as his/hers. Other natures that work are:Impish, Lax, Relaxed, Calm, Modest, and Timid. These are not guaranteed to work, because the IVs of the Pokemon could lean towards attack, in which case you would have to use a Bold nature, and a few Irons possibly.

∙ 14y agoGo to saffron city and go to the gym (But don't go in the gym). On the left side of the gym there is a dojo. go in it. then, there are four ninja men. Battle the four ninja men. Then you will see a man with two poke balls behind him. Battle the man. if you win, You can go to the two poke balls. One of the poke balls has a hitmonlee and the other poke ball has a hitmonchan. Choose Hitmonlee. And there you go! Have fun with hitmonlee!

∙ 9y agoHitmonchan does not appear in Pokemon Ruby in any capacity, thus the only way to obtain one would be to trade from other versions. In Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen, Hitmonchan can be found at the Fighting Dojo.
