How do you get past the restricted section in the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone video game?

To find the student you must go to the second room in the restricted section and destroy the metal bird cage in the first entry. then levitate the remains of the bird cage. which make a coocoo-clock and levitate the coocoo-clock. the student then will pop out.

You need to find the ingredients for the cauldron to open the door. Next you need to find the key to open the gate at the top of the stairs to the right (and avoid Filch). The last area is the mirror of Erised, where you have to pull both ropes at the sides to open the cover.
