How do you get to faraway island in Pokemon LeafGreen?

You can only go to Faraway Island in Pokémon Emerald and in order to travel to Faraway Island you need access to the Old Sea Map which was only available through a Nintendo distribution which was never held in America, Mexico, Europe or anywhere else except for Japan.

You need to buy an Action Replay or a GameShark in this world.

Both devices should have cheats already loaded onto them. You could also go to a NoA Event, usually held in New York City or Chicago.

You don't. You get to it in Emerald with an event item that went out of distribution a while ago.
get mystic ticket leafgreen but you have to do mystery gift

Use a gameshark code to get a ticket ten go to Slateport and give the girl the ticket and she will take u there on the boat
