When Katniss broke open the forcefield, both the rebels and the Capitol came to pick up the tributes. The rebels didn't have enough time to find Peeta and get out safely, if they wanted to get Katniss(which was their main goal), so the Capitol was able to capture Peeta, in which during that time, killed Brutus(district2) that recently killed Chaff(d11)

∙ 12y agohe survived because katniss blew up the force field and the capitol took peeta and asks him how she did it but no one knows how katniss doesnt even know how she did it AND in the third book she picks peeta over gale because gale kills prim

∙ 12y agoThe team from District 13 broke into the capitol and rescued Peeta, Johanna, Annie and a few others. They did not save Enobaria but Enobaria remains fine in the Capitol because she is close with The Capitol if that makes sense.
