Sociobiology suggests that behaviors such as warfare and competition for resources, like food, can be understood through the lens of evolutionary Biology. It posits that these actions may be driven by innate survival instincts and reproductive strategies, where groups compete for limited resources to ensure the survival and propagation of their genes. Consequently, wars can be seen as a means of acquiring territory or resources, while hunger reflects the struggle for sustenance in a competitive environment. This perspective emphasizes the biological underpinnings of social behaviors, suggesting that such phenomena are not solely cultural but also rooted in our evolutionary history.
