Barty Crouch smuggled his son out of Azkaban, using Polyjuice Potion to disguise him as his mother. Barty's son then spent several years hidden away and imprisoned in the family home. He was eventually freed from his father by Voldemort.
In the Goblet of Fire, the fake mad eye moody is Barty Crouch junior who is a Death eater trying to kill Harry. He is actually the son of Barty Crouch, the leader of the ministry of magic
He works in the Ministry of Magic as the Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation, and is one of the judges of the Twiwizard Tournament at Hogwarts until he mysteriously disappears. He used to be an appreciated and respected judge, (Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement) at the Ministry of Magic, during the First Wizarding War. He was pushed aside shortly afterward, as his son was revealed to be a Death Eater who'd possibly taken part in torturing two people into madness, and Mr. Crouch sentenced the boy to Azkaban for life. As in, people didn't understand how a son of someone like Barty Crouch could've done something like that, and some didn't like that the father sent his own son to Azkaban and naturally people came to have different opinions on him - mostly negative. However, the reasons how the father could do such a thing or if the son even really took part in the torture crime, are not confirmed in the book, and the possibilities are many. Barty Crouch did send his son to Azkaban, where the son spent a year and was dying there before his dying mother took his place there. So, the father had agreed to save his son from Azkaban by letting the mother take his place and the son believed it was only out of love for the mother, granting her last wish. Mr. and Mrs. Crouch visit their son's death bed in Azkaban and make the switch with Polyjuice Potion. Mr. Crouch takes his son home and in order to protect the boy and keep him from searching for Voldemort, Mr. Crouch hides him from the world with the Imperius Curse and an invisibility cloak. For twelve years he succeeds in that.
Barty Crouch died because he had figured out that the "Mad-Eye" Moody that was there was really his son, Barty Crouch Jr. So barty jr. decided to kill his father so nobody else would know he was there and ruin his plan to get Harry to the graveyard for Voldemort.
Barty Crouch Sr was murdered by his son, Barty Crouch Jr who transfigured his body into a bone and buried it in order to avoid detection. Barty Crouch Jr was given the Dementors kiss, a fate described as worse than death.
Yes. He then sneaked him out after his dying wife begged him too.

If you mean after the Harry Potter series ends, then all we know is that he escaped Azkaban because of the Malfoy's last minute change of allegiance. He also becomes grandfather to Draco and Astoria's son, Scorpius.

No. He doesn't exist in the Deathly Hallows book or in any other but the fourth book, Goblet of Fire. In the end of Goblet of Fire he got his soul sucked out by a Dementor but the film doesn't show it or even imply that it would be the case. But still no, the movies haven't altered the books's storylines that crucially so far, it is unlikely they would now. Barty Crouch Jr. will not appear in the last Deathly Hallows movie.
If you mean the Character, it was Bartemus Crouch's son, Barty Crouch Junior. But if you mean the actor, his name is David Tennant. He was the Doctor in a few seasons of Doctor Who, starting from Season Two. :)
The one who escaped is Abiathar, Son of Ahimelek... Here is the reference; 1 Sam 22: 20 But one son of Ahimelek son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped and fled to join David.
We don't know exacty. His son was about thirty-three years old during Goblet, so middle-aged at least.
He is the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement's son Bartemius "Barty" Crouch Junior (played by David Tennant).
