FOREVER!
The easiest way to find larvitar is to look on route J. It may take a while but you will find it
I don't know about Action Replay or Cheats, but you can get a Larvitar in the grass on route 207 in Pokemon diamond, but not in Pokemon pearl. It is very rare and will take a long time to find, and you need a pokeradar to find it.
Larvitar evolves at level 30 and then evolves again at level 55.You can find larvitar at 7th island, in 7th island, go in seavault canyon(you need pokeballs pok-e-ball)Trust me, i want to help anyone in need
Tyranitar can only be obtained in Platinum by evolving Pupitar and Larvitar. Pupitar evolves into Tyranitar at level 55 and Larvitar evolves into Pupitar at level 30. Larvitar can be found in swarms on Route 206 (below Cycling Road, south of Eterna City and north of Route 207). You can obtain information about swarms through news reports on TVs or talking to Dawn's or Lucas's sister in Sandgew Town.
First go to Sandgem Town. You need surf and then take Route 219 and as you surf go to Route 220. Then take east turn to take Route 221. Then you will see a tiny island where there will be lots of grass. You will find sudowoodo in the grass.

It takes 10,496 steps for a Larvitar egg to hatch.
ONLY ON POKEMON DIAMOND, PEARL DOES NOT HAVE LARVITAR, PUPITAR OR TYRANITAR!Larvitar is very rare so it may take a while to catch. You need to go to Route 207. This is just above Oreburgh City. You need to use a pokeradar. You get this from the Pal Park (you need to have completed National Dex). At Route 207, use the pokeradar. When the grass rustles, walk into it. This may be larvitar, or just a normal Sinnoh pokemon. Be prepared to be very patient!Hope everyone found this helpful, written by lushbob
it takes 10,946 steps
The route you take it.
You will find Aipoms in trees in Route 29 to 33 and Route 42 to 46. They are uncommon and they appear anytime. So it won't take very long to find one.
How long the route takes has more to do with how long your route is - how many houses it covers - than how old you are.
