I'm not sure what "heir from" is supposed to mean exactly.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry VIII.

Edward VI, her (younger) half-brother, succeded Henry. After that it gets complicated.

Edward's will excluded his half-sisters, Mary (the elder of the two) and Elizabeth, from the succession and instead named his cousin Lady Jane Grey as heir presumptive.

Jane occupied the throne for about nine days following Edwards death before being deposed in favor of Mary (and later executed for treason).

Mary was Queen for about five years before her own death (thought to possibly be from uterine cancer... she had thought she was pregnant before becoming ill and dying).

Since Mary died childless, the crown devolved upon Elizabeth. So her direct predecessor was Mary I, even though her eligibility for the crown derived instead from her father Henry VIII.
