There are over 100 ancient obelisks around the world, many of which are found in Egypt, where they were originally erected to honor the gods and commemorate pharaohs. Notable examples include the Luxor Obelisk in Paris and the Washington Monument in the U.S., which is a modern interpretation. Additionally, many countries have replicas or modern obelisks inspired by the ancient structures. Overall, the exact number can vary as new discoveries may occur and some may be lost or damaged over time.
Many cities around the world do not have obelisks, but a notable example is Paris, Texas. Unlike its namesake, Paris, France, which is home to the famous Luxor Obelisk, Paris, Texas lacks any such monuments. While it features various historical markers and sculptures, an obelisk is not among them.
Obelisk the tormentor is only available as a download.
They were the egyptians.
In my opinion, Obelisk is far better than Turbo Warrior. Obelisk is an Egyptian God Card and cannot be targeted by effects. Turbo Warrior is a good card but it has only 2500 ATK points whilst Obelisk has 4000 ATK points. The only way Turbo Warrior can be better than Obelisk is that it can actually be played in official tournaments. Obelisk cannot be used in any official tournaments as it is classed as illegal. Turbo Warrior can be used in official tournaments so this can be better than Obelisk if you want to participate in tournaments.

I don't know who constructed the obelisk because you are not asking specifically WHICH obelisk. There are many obelisks in the world to choose from.

The Washington Monument
The Washington Monument is an obelisk, a large rectangular tower with a point on top. The obelisk structure originated in Egypt, but is now used all over the world for different purposes (many being to honor someone/something, such as the Washington Monument.)
Three possible objects an obelisk, a statue usually of the Pharaoh and of a god who always seemed to look like the Pharaoh.
The Washington Monument is a fine example of an obelisk. Just look at that obelisk!
