In my opinion, Obelisk is far better than Turbo Warrior. Obelisk is an Egyptian God Card and cannot be targeted by effects. Turbo Warrior is a good card but it has only 2500 ATK points whilst Obelisk has 4000 ATK points.
The only way Turbo Warrior can be better than Obelisk is that it can actually be played in official tournaments. Obelisk cannot be used in any official tournaments as it is classed as illegal. Turbo Warrior can be used in official tournaments so this can be better than Obelisk if you want to participate in tournaments.

It depends. Slifer the Sky Dragon has the potential to be WAY better then than Obelisk, but if you have a low amount of cards in your hand, it can be quite weak. I would use Obelisk, because the attack and defence of that card won't change, Slifer's will.

To be honest we all have our own views. There is now four yugiohs altogether: yugioh, yugioh gx, yugioh 5d's and yugioh zexal. I think yugioh 5d's is better than all of them but I only think this because I haven't watched zexal and I did enjoy the other two. :) but you decide... hope this helped :)

Could obelisk the tormentor work in a synchro warrior deck and you mean the playable version of obelisk is it good decent or bad card?
The playable version of obelisk is really good, as it is almost invincible. In a serious tournament, players won't be able to destroy it with bottomless, torrential tribute, gyzarus, DAD.... Not only that but at the cost of 2 monsters (they can be tokens, like scapegoat or fluffy tokens) You wipe out your opponents field. In a warrior snchro deck, it could work better than in other decks (but it would still work better in a monarch deck or in a deck that focuses on tributes) because they usually have 3 copies of ''the inmortal bushi'' which can be revived at your standby phase and then be sacrificed for oblisk. For the two tributes for Obelisk's effect, you can use marauding captain, which summons another guy, and that makes two. Conclusion: It's a good card as long as it is placed in the right deck, in a warrior synchro (you can use some x-sabers for that, I recomend you) I would give it the same importance as any tuner. 106me ADDS: I was researching on this and I think it would most certainly work. Although I was taking too much time on this (because there are apparently 2 types of this card) and I was beaten to the answer.
